WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR INTERVIEW:

Hello potential employee! We appreciate your interest in becoming a member of our team and we look forward to learning more about you. Below, please find some questions and topics that will help you prepare for your interview.

We want to learn what kind of background, if any, you might have in the restaurant industry. Please be prepared to speak about a past position and a few things that you liked or disliked about your previous position.

If this is your first time entering into the service industry, no problem! Everyone starts somewhere. Please be ready to tell us about some of the tasks that you have enjoyed or subjects that you are interested in.

We may ask for you to tell us what you enjoy about going out to eat or a few favorable dining experiences you’ve had. This can be as simple as your favorite slice of pizza or just something that you have had a positive connection to.

We are in the business of providing hospitality as well as the food that customers pay for. We choose our team carefully so that the best possible experience can be offered to our customers so that they are happy and keep returning.

We’ll likely ask you the following questions:

  • Tell us about a project or goal you are working on.

  • In relation to your style of learning do you like to be told what to do and exactly how to do it? Do you like to be told what to do and then allowed to figure out the best way to meet that result?

  • Would you describe yourself as a creative person?

  • Do you enjoy routines?

  • Do you like challenges?

  • How do you handle changes?

  • Do you enjoy new things?

  • Do you think of yourself as a people person and outgoing, or more reserved and quiet? A combination?

  • How do you handle conflicts?

Please take sometime to think about these topics and be sure to show us your true self so that we can best place you on our team. There are no wrong answers.
